Archaeological site of Ephesus and the Houses on the Slope

From our hotel, we drive to the upper gate of Ephesus.

A visit to Ephesus - once a commercial center of the ancien world - is a must when in Turkey.  The city was dedicated to the goddess Artemis whose splendid temple (one of the seven wonders) has been rebuilt several times.

In Ephesus, you will visit among others a theater, a gymnasium, an agora, baths and the library of Celsus.

During the visit, we will also access the "Houses on the Slope" (extra entrance fee), an exhibit of Roman mansions showing life style 2000 years ago.
